‘Finally…Some Justice!’

“An Ontario Superior Court Justice has ordered the spokesperson for a ‘First Nations’ {Aboriginal} land ‘reclamation’ {theft} of a housing development in Caledonia, Ont., to pay $168,000 in legal bills for the developer and the municipality.

“Ontario Justice R.J. Harper…ordered Skyler Williams to pay Foxgate Development $117,814.18 and Haldimand County $50,349. The total legal bills are based on the costs amassed by Foxgate Development and Haldimand County, the municipality that oversees Caledonia, in seeking injunctions against the {illegal} ‘reclamation’ camp and against any related road blockades throughout the county.

“Caledonia is about 20 kilometres south of Hamilton and neighbours the Haudenosaunee community of Six ‘Nations’ of the Grand River, which has the largest on-reserve population of any ‘First Nation’ in the country.

The years of abuse inflicted on the ‘Indigenous’ {sic, the correct Constitutional term is ‘Aboriginal’} community and their resulting pain must be recognized by all of our society and is recognized by the court. However, that pain cannot be used as a battle cry that can only lead to division, hate and future violence“,
wrote Harper.
Skyler Williams and others chose to start this process of illegal activities by resorting to self-help and violence. His declaration: ‘I think it’s time for land back occupation’ has been followed by exactly that.”

“Williams said the developer and the municipality should be seeking the money from the federal and provincial governments, whose decades of inaction on resolving Six ‘Nations’ {fabricated} ‘land grievances’ led to the ‘reclamation’ {theft}.

These are the people that they need to be going after“,
said Willams.
You can’t get blood from a stone…. I certainly don’t have those dollars.”

{A handful of unauthorized} Six ‘Nations’ members took over Foxgate’s McKenzie Meadows development in July, saying it was on land that was taken from Six ‘Nations’ in the mid-1800s. The land is part of two claims previously filed by Six ‘Nations’ against Ottawa seeking compensation — ranging from the billions to the trillions of dollars — for the ‘illegal alienation’ of ‘their territory’.

{‘The Myths of Caledonia’:
“The ownership history of Six Nations lands in Ontario has been ignored, as has the legal basis of the Six Nations claim to those lands. It’s time for the politically-incorrect truth to be told. In short, THE SIX NATIONS HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHTS TO THE LAND IN QUESTION, AND HAVE HAD NONE FOR OVER A CENTURY.”

“Those claims are currently before the Ontario Superior Court, but the case is expected to take years to resolve.
{It shouldn’t. Those claims have been repeatedly debunked, including in provincial court…}

“The lands are part of the Haldimand Tract granted {for use, NOT title} to Six ‘Nations’ in the 18th century for allying with the British during the American Revolution. It encompassed 10 kilometres on each side of the 280-kilometre long Grand River.

“After a previous administration rejected the development of the McKenzie Meadows lands in 2013, the Six ‘Nations’ elected council signed an agreement with Foxgate Development in May 2019 to support the project in exchange for $352,000 and 17 hectares of land.

“Williams, who is the designated spokesman {designated by whom?} for the ‘reclamation’ camp, dubbed ‘1492 Land Back Lane’, was added to the injunction applications as a result of his role as the public face of the movement. The developer also has a $20 million claim against Williams {!}.

“Harper stated in the ruling that he found Williams to be the “leader” of the ‘reclamation’, based on his numerous social media posts and videos published since the start of the land ‘reclamation’ ‘movement’ in mid-July. During court proceedings, Williams repeatedly denied he was the leader of ‘1492 Land Back Lane’, which operates as a collective and makes decisions through meetings.

“The judge also struck all filings from Williams submitted with the court in his defence, including a notice of a constitutional question which was also served on Ottawa and Ontario.

“After Harper granted the permanent injunction against ‘1492 Land Back Lane’ and against road blockades in any part of Haldimand County on Oct. 22, a clash ensued between Ontario Provincial Police and Six ‘Nations members’. Now, blockades fortified by trenches dug into two roads and a highway block four points of access to ‘1492 Land Back Lane’.”

“It seems like it would be an open-and-shut investigation, but $2 million worth of construction equipment reported stolen in Caledonia last week is anything but.

This is equipment that has been used to develop stolen land for how long?
Six ‘Nations’ land ‘defender’ {‘thief!’} Skyler Williams said on Thursday.
That equipment, as (well) as any other equipment, is proceeds of crime, as far as I’m concerned.”

“Williams was speaking generally about the cost of the stolen excavators juxtaposed with “the estimated $2.5 trillion {?} of stolen land” they are fighting to protect at the McKenzie Meadows construction site.

“Police say the equipment in question was used by “unknown suspects” late Oct. 22 or early Oct. 23 in the area of Highway 6 bypass — between Argyle Street and Greens Road — “causing significant damage” to roads. That is the night that barricades were erected in the area {In open defiance of the law!}, after a judge upheld injunctions barring access to the occupied construction site and putting up barricades in Haldimand County.

“A section of Highway 6, as well as McKenzie Road in front of the occupied land, were dug up with excavators. A damaged school bus was placed across the road at one of the barricades.

“Const. Rod LeClair of the Haldimand County OPP told the ‘Spectator’ that the machinery was reported stolen on the morning of Oct. 23. He said the owner of the equipment is not being identified at this time. At least seven construction equipment items were stolen, including a ‘John Deere’ backhoe and bulldozer and road grader, a ‘Hitachi’ excavator, a ‘Volvo’ excavator, a ‘Caterpillar’ compaction roller and portable traffic lights, OPP say.

The total estimated value is $2,125,000.

“LeClair said the investigation into the stolen vehicles is ongoing.”

“A highway remained blocked in Caledonia on Friday afternoon after tensions flared overnight. Illegal Aboriginal blockaders clashed with police in a standoff after a judge granted a permanent injunction Thursday ordering the group, largely comprised of members from Six Nations of the Grand River, off of a proposed housing development, ‘McKenzie Meadows’. A bus was also overturned on Highway 6 overnight, blocking the site of the proposed development. Tires and wood pallets were burned overnight, too. People who live in the area told CTV that they lost power in the evening after a hydro pole was set on fire…”

Defying Canada{Oct.23, 2020}:
Here’s a Caledonia Mohawk once again challenging Canadian sovereignty, pretending they are somehow an independent nation within the borders of Canada that can ignore Canadian law and policing. His arrogance comes from the fact that the Canadian government irresponsibly does NOTHING to assert Canadian sovereignty where Mohawks are concerned – not in Ontario or Quebec…
“This is a message to the OPP – also to Canada and the rest of Ontario:
OPP – you guys want to come on to ‘our territory’, prepare to walk home because we’re going to be confiscating your vehicles. We’re ‘not allowing’ no more passage through here…
