‘Stating the Obvious’

The only change that will affect these results is for aboriginal parents and communities to start placing the same emphasis on education as, say, the Jewish and Japanese communities. Then, we will see REAL change:

“A new “microsimulation” study concludes that eliminating the education gap between ‘indigenous’ {they mean ‘aboriginal’} and non-‘indigenous’ {‘aboriginal’} people in Saskatchewan would reduce a projected increase in the number of people who come into contact with the law.
{A conclusion that has already been commonplace in Western Civilization for at least 200 years. And, of course, taxpayers were forced to fund this nonsense…}

“The pilot study, published Thursday, is a collaboration of the ‘Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics’ and ‘Statistics Canada’s demography division…

“Crime “remains a major challenge in Saskatchewan“, the study’s authors said, noting the police-reported crime rate in 2018 was more than double the national rate, and that 74% of adult admissions to custody in 2017-2018 were ‘indigenous’ {‘aboriginal’} offenders.

“According to the study, Saskatchewan’s population is projected to increase 16% between 2011 and 2036 (in a medium-growth scenario), including 46% growth in the ‘indigenous’ {‘aboriginal’} population. It said, in relative terms, it is expected that the number of people who have contact with the criminal justice system will “greatly exceed” population growth in the province…

“In the 2016-17 school year, the grad rate for self-declared ‘indigenous’ {‘aboriginal’} students was 43.2% — up from 41.9% from the year before — compared to 85.4% for non-‘indigenous’ {‘aboriginal’} students…”

And then, when they do educate aboriginal students, they teach them racist and anti-Canadian values, if not outright nonsense:

Encouraging Racial Resentments In Children{July 22, 2019}:
“Bella Morrisseau Whiskeyjack, 9 years old, a member of Saddle Lake Cree ‘Nation’ {a ‘nation’ of 10,976 people} and Sherwood Park student, recently won silver in the ‘2019 ‘Indigenous’ Child Author Competition’ through the UNESCO “Voices of Future Generations Children’s Initiative” for a {misleading} book she wrote about Treaty 6…”

‘Indigenizing’ Another School’ (Quebec) {April 6, 2019}:
“Physics, chemistry, biology — you name a subject being taught in school, we have evidence that shows that our ancestors were well-versed in those subject areas.”

Decolonizing Another Campus‘ (Acadia U.)}:
“The structural racism that segregated aboriginals in the 1867 BNA Act continues to be practiced by Canadian institutions – and they still think that ‘It’s for their own good’. Now, aboriginal racial nationalists also agree. Why can’t students of aboriginal heritage be regarded — and treated — as unique individuals rather than as members of a racial collective?”

Aboriginal Education:
“As well as alternative criteria, “different” forms of communication are advocated for aboriginal students. It should NOT be expected that students will be able to structure information in terms of arguments and evidence. Instead, they should listen to stories…without a stated conclusion… It is argued, for example, that the “sacredness” and “fundamental truth” of myths should be honoured… In addition, teaching critical thinking skills becomes problematic since it “may be viewed as challenging the traditional ethic of respectful listening”… This concern with promoting “respectful listening” has even led the University of Victoria {B.C.} to change teaching methods and curricula to “accommodate aboriginal traditions and values”…”

Schools Encourage Racism, Resentment and Resistance Against Canada{June 24, 2014}:
“It’s a show about resistance: a powerful and pervasive theme woven in many aboriginal’s personal stories. But this time, it’s demonstrated in multiple artistic works, all by aboriginal youth. Both students now attend the ‘First Nation’, Métis & Inuit Secondary School Pilot Project’, offered by the ‘Toronto District School Board Aboriginal Education Centre’…”

On Segregated Schooling‘ (Peter Best):
“American studies have shown that racially integrated schools produce far better academic outcomes and far better life outcomes for their students than do segregated schools. Thus, it would be far more positive for our Canadian aboriginal youth to attend school with the youth of all the other races, ethnicities and religions that make up our beautiful Canadian mosaic.”
