Here we have elected fools who don’t understand what Canada is all about. We can only hope that this town Councillor stands his ground against those who would use threats and bullying to force political conformity and suppress free speech:

Unless “the village’s code of conduct” specifies that councillors must not comment publicly on controversial issues – which would be lunacy – this councillor has done NOTHING wrong. This is simply irresponsible elected officials using the power of government to try and suppress free speech – a completely unCanadian move. THEY should be the ones tendering their resignations. “The goal is to fine and suspend Coun. John Robertson, but Mayor Terry White wants the province to step in to remove the councillor entirely, saving the village some much-needed money.

“While Robertson did not respond by deadline to a phone message or email sent to the village, he recently told CBC P.E.I. that he would not be resigning after council and the mayor — separately — asked him to.
The whole incident has “given us a dirty stain”, and it doesn’t reflect the values of the people who live in Murray Harbour, White said in an Oct. 12 SaltWire interview.

“White spoke to the Department of Housing, Land and Communities this week to ask Minister Rob Lantz to remove Robertson entirely, since the council can’t do it on their own. They can only fine him $500 and suspend him from council for six months, White said. So, they’re paying for a third-party investigation, as policy requires, though they have plenty of ‘evidence’ anyway {?}, White said.
“I tried to give him the easy road out. He didn’t want that; he dug his heels in, so he knows he’s done wrong, or I hope he does. But we have to do it legally, and that’s the way we’re going right now.”
‘Calls to resign’
“Island {Aboriginal} Senator Brian Francis has called for Robertson’s resignation over the issue.
“Abegweit ‘First Nation’ Chief Junior Gould, whose father was a residential school survivor {former student} and later chief of Abegweit, has also called for Robertson’s resignation. He spoke at the village’s Oct. 11 meeting, saying it was his job as a public representative {and Aboriginal Race activist} to ‘educate’ people every time these things happen. It is also the job of other public officials to ‘educate’ and hold themselves to a ‘high’ {conformist} standard.
“The thing that bothers me the most about your sign, is it your community’s representation. He is a member of this council”,
Gould said.
{He is first and foremost a citizen with an inherent RIGHT to comment on political and social issues. YOU are the one who doesn’t get it. Canadian Aboriginal Chiefs are notorious for suppressing dissident voices on reserves.}
“Robertson did not attend the meeting on Oct. 11.
“Going forward, White says the sign is coming down, though he’s not sure what legal power the town has yet.

“April Gallant, senior communications officer with the Department of Housing, Land and Communities, said on Oct. 12 that provincial law makes councillor conduct a municipal responsibility.
“The council’s code of conduct bylaw would set out the guidelines and process for handling councillor code of conduct. In this instance, I believe that results in a third-party investigation. We respect the role of local governments and their autonomy to address councillor conduct in the manners they have set out through code of conduct bylaws. We will allow council to go through their processes.”

“Generally, Robertson displays messages such as “Welcome to Murray Harbour”, “Merry Christmas”, or congratulations to a recently engaged couple. During last year’s Freedom Convoy, Robertson displayed the first message that could be considered political:
“Support the truckers”.
“While the Freedom Convoy sign caused a local buzz, it didn’t get into the press – it is only now with the ‘reconciliation’ sign that everyone has gone “ballistic”, in Robertson’s words.

Gould is also publicly calling for the councillor’s removal, saying Robertson’s sign was poorly-informed, disrespectful, and anti-inclusion.
“Similarly, P.E.I. Senator Brian Francis accused Robertson of displaying “hateful and harmful content” and perpetuating “violence”.

“Though Chief Gould may think Robertson is poorly-informed, in the two-and-a-half years since the Tk’emlups ‘Nation’ of Kamloops, BC announced it had “confirmation of the remains of 215 children who were students of the Kamloops Indian Residential School”, no bodies have been found.
“Researcher Prof. Sarah Beaulieu claimed she found a juvenile tooth and rib bone on the former residential school grounds, but the tooth turned out to be non-human and the rib bone disappeared before it was ever analyzed.
{It’s called ‘Fraud’…and, in this case, it’s a hate crime…}
“The Tk’emlups ‘Nation’ {a so-called ‘nation’ of 1,463 people}, and the other ‘First Nations’ {Aboriginal tribes} that have made similar claims about unmarked graves, have only ever found soil disturbances via ground-penetrating radar.
“Manitoba’s Pine Creek ‘First Nation’ {a ‘nation’ of 4,640 people} found 14 soil abnormalities with the radar, but an excavation only turned up rock.
“However, if you bring up these facts – as Robertson was alluding to with his sign – you will be labelled a “denialist”. And Canada’s political elites have toyed with criminalizing “denialism”.
“Urgent consideration should be given to legal mechanisms to address denialism, including the implementation of both civil and criminal sanctions,”
wrote Ottawa-appointed {Aboriginal Race activist} ‘special interlocutor on unmarked graves’ Kimberly Murray in a June 2023 interim report.
“As for Sir John A, in recent years he has become known as “the architect of residential schools” {Which he wasn’t. Churches built and ran the Residential schools}.
“He did things that were wrong and he did things that were right, and who amongst us hasn’t?”
said Robertson.
“I’m not suggesting for a moment that there weren’t problems in residential schools and the history of our country. But let’s just start with the truth, instead of this mass grave hoax that the CBC won’t let go of.”
“Robertson is now going through a textbook cancellation process. The calls for removal, the third-party investigation, the reeducation sessions, the public denouncements. It’s all so sadly familiar in Canada.
“Through this persecution, I’ve strengthened my relationship with Christ. And I forgive all my enemies. I just feel so badly for the abuse the whole village is taking”,

{A person this full of racial resentments should never have been appointed to the Senate. It just gives him a platform from which to spread hate – a hate directed at the rest of Canadians.}
